The number
of true Allgäu Airport friends on Facebook is increasing from day to day.
Within a few weeks the Memminger Airport could gather a numerous fan community
on the social network Facebook. 1,000 friends are listed on the Facebook
account of the Airport, which always informs about the current incidents and
news all around the Airport.
“This is a
big proof for the acceptance of our airport” affirmed Ralf Schmid, announcer of
the Allgäu Airport management. Facebook members look rather closely at the
Allgäu Airport for a long time. Because of that the Facebook Group “Save the
connection Hamburg-Memmingen” gained much interest and support and is now
counting about 2,300 members. Nicole Lucke, founder of the group, made a lot of
interviews on radio, TV and for newspapers and above all she discovered that
there are copyists: another small Facebook group has be founded which asks for
a connection Memmingen-Istanbul.
